Delete your data

SpeakMyLingo does not require a name, email address or login. It uses a pseudonymous installation account to keep purchased minutes accurate.

Delete from your iPhone

Open SpeakMyLingo, tap Settings, choose Privacy and data, then select Delete account and local data. Confirm the request while connected to the internet.

This requests removal of the pseudonymous service account and processor records, then cryptographically erases saved meetings, retained audio, transcripts, corrections and app credentials from that iPhone. Finish any active capture first. PostHog event deletion is queued and may finish after the request returns. Deleting the app alone does not submit this server-side request.

If you cannot access the app

Email sayspan7@gmail.com with “SpeakMyLingo deletion request” in the subject. Do not send meeting audio, transcripts, access codes or provider credentials. Support may ask for the pseudonymous diagnostic identifier shown inside the app so the correct ledger can be found without requesting meeting content.

What may remain

Apple keeps purchase and refund records under its own legal obligations. SpeakMyLingo may retain non-identifying financial audit records and one-way transaction hashes where required for fraud prevention, accounting or legal compliance. They cannot be used to reconstruct meeting content.
