Effective September 6, 2026. These terms supplement Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for SpeakMyLingo.
Recording responsibly
You must inform participants and obtain every consent required by the laws and policies that apply to your conversation. Do not use SpeakMyLingo where recording or transcription is prohibited.
AI-generated output
Live captions, translations, speaker labels, summaries and suggested replies can be incomplete or incorrect. Review important names, numbers, decisions and commitments against the source conversation. SpeakMyLingo is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
Minute packs
SpeakMyLingo offers non-expiring 10-, 60-, and 200-minute consumable packs. Packs accumulate, do not renew automatically, and are not silently reset. One SpeakMyLingo minute covers one actual minute of live capture, including live translation and standard meeting notes.
No SpeakMyLingo login is required. The app uses a pseudonymous identifier stored on this installation to maintain its minute ledger. Consumable packs are intended for this installation and are not automatically restored by Apple on another device. Prices are shown before purchase and may vary by region. Apple processes payment and refund requests.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not use SpeakMyLingo to violate privacy, intellectual-property or other rights, to evade access controls, or for unlawful surveillance. Network, microphone, Apple and AI-provider availability can affect results. We may protect the service with reasonable rate limits and may suspend abusive access.
Deletion and contact
You can delete saved meetings in the app at any time and use the in-app account deletion control to remove the pseudonymous service account and local data. See Delete your data and the Privacy Policy. Questions can be sent to sayspan7@gmail.com.
