SpeakMyLingo 1.0 is available on the App Store in supported countries and regions. Download it on your iPhone to get started.

Before a conversation

Grant microphone access, choose the expected spoken languages and Transcript language, select the correct privacy mode, inform participants, and keep the iPhone connected to a stable network. Place it centrally for room capture or select the intended AirPods or external microphone route.

Speech language or Transcript language?

Speech languages guide what the app expects to hear. Transcript language controls the main captions you read. Heard preserves the original recognized wording. Check important names, numbers and decisions with the speaker.

Pause, finish and find your notes

Pause temporarily stops capture. Finish ends the session. With Save privately, use Library to revisit the transcript, summary and actions. Live only leaves no saved meeting after the session ends. Optional summaries and processing require a connection.

Help inside the app

Open Settings, then How to use SpeakMyLingo for the offline guide in the help-enabled release. Settings also contains appearance, app lock, outside-app captions, privacy and account deletion. Your app version appears in Help and support.

If live text is delayed

Check your connection and microphone route while SpeakMyLingo reconnects automatically. A connected service can still be delayed or unavailable; the original recognized speech remains a reference, not a completed translation. The status shown in the recording screen reflects whether audio is being captured, buffered, sent, or returned as live text. Moving closer to the active speaker and reducing competing playback improves far-field accuracy.

If post-meeting processing fails

Your captured transcript remains available immediately. Do not delete the meeting if you want to retry optional refinement. When the selected privacy mode retains audio, encrypted chunks remain available for an explicit retry after network or provider access returns.

Purchases and minutes

Consumable minute packs are recorded in SpeakMyLingo's secure ledger for this installation; Apple does not automatically restore consumed products on another device. A completed purchase can take a short time to appear while it is verified. If it does not appear, include the product name and purchase time in your message, but never send credentials or meeting content.

Accessibility and permissions

Choose System, Light or Dark appearance and Minimal mode in Settings. Reduce Motion follows the iPhone setting. If microphone permission was denied, enable it for SpeakMyLingo in iPhone Settings. Outside-app captions are optional and unavailable in Live only.
